Want to take your basic-life-support skills to a higher level and be able to give a non-breathing, unresponsive casualty an increased chance of survival?
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are becoming widely available for use in an emergency in public places and during this course you will gain the confidence to use one.
After this course you would be able to confidently use an AED unit on a dive trip in an emergency. You can also use the skills learnt on this course in the wider community as well as in your dive club. Highly recommended.
After this course you could further your training by doing other Skill Development Courses (SDCs).
You could further your safety and rescue training by completing the following SDCs.
If you are already a Sports Diver you could sign up for BSAC’s Instructor Foundation Course (IFC) to become an Assistant Diving Instructor, or develop your existing skills as an Open Water Instructor, or above, to become an AED course instructor.
Or you could progress with your diver grade training.
